Wonder Valley Family Camp Activities

With over 60 different activities being offered during your stay at Wonder Valley Family Camp, it is literally impossible for campers in any age group to become bored. From sunrise until late into the night, something is going on just about everywhere you look on Wonder Valley’s 75-acre grounds.

The combination of new challenges, new adventures and new friends makes every day at Wonder Valley better than the last. Today, a young girl may spend the morning learning to ride a horse, enjoy a spirited game of tennis in the afternoon, and join friends on stage at Talent Night in the evening.

Family Camp is a very unique experience for everyone, from infants to grandparents. There is always a strong emphasis on building family togetherness, and enjoying new things in a relaxed, friendly environment. It is a wonderful opportunity for the generations to be united.

Our Children’s Programs are supervised by qualified counselors. Children under age 9 may participate in structured activities with their respective age groups. Campers 9 years and older may choose from a varied program. Adults may participate in most activities offered. The age groups include: BOOTBITERS 0-2, WRANGLERS 3-4, SPURS 5-6, BUCKAROOS 7-8, RANCHEROS 9-11, BRONCOS 12-14 and SENIORS 15-17.

For parents, the Family Camp experience is a great way to spend serious quality time with their
children, in a setting that is designed for fun all day, every day. There are many special adult activities planned as well, like the “Parents Night Out” event, in which camp counselors prepare a dinner and evening program for the kids while mom and dad dress up to be wined and dined by attentive camp staff.
